Hunt in the wilderness of Northern Saskatchewan - Northern Echo Lodge is a 30 - 40 minute boat ride from the end of the lake.Your accommodations will be in a spacious log cabin. You will be treated to hardy home-cooked meals for your dining pleasure. The camp is located on an island and you will be escorted, by boat, to your hunting site, where a comfortable tree stand will await you. All baiting and guiding will be done by people with a great deal of experience. Our guides are well-qualified archery specialists, with many years of bowhunting expertise and with a good number of Pope and Young animals to their credit.  As we are the only outfitters in this region, you will have unique privacy in this wilderness area.

Northern Saskatchewan boasts of some of the largest record black bears ever taken in North America.  The bears vary in color, with many cinnamon, black and brown shades.  As this area has been very seldom hunted, the bears are plentiful and many have lived to be of "old age" which, in turn, means many are of "trophy" size.  You will truly find it exciting to experience the thrill of having a huge black bear stalking under your tree stand at close range!!!!

Wapawekka Lake offers some of the finest fishing available in the North.  Time will allow you to experience the excitement of catching some of the great Northern Pike and Walleye, and perhaps enjoy a delicious shore lunch of fresh fish, right out of the water!!
